50th Year Anniversay

This is one of the only photos left from my parents’ wedding.

The rest were lost during a house move more than 30 years ago, and my mum has always been heartbroken about that.

For their 50th wedding anniversary, I wanted to rebuild the day that has kept them together for five decades.

Using AI, and just this single image, I created a full film of that day.

The ceremony.
The lunch.
The celebration with friends and family.

I used Google Maps to recreate the locations.

Archive images to rebuild the church interior, the venue, and even the priest who married them.

Old family photos to recreate relatives and close friends from that time.

I wanted every detail and moment to be as accurate as possible.

When I shared the film with them over Christmas, they both became emotional.

It reminded me that AI is just a tool.

When you use it with the right context, for the right people, at the right time, you can make people feel something real.
